This phenomenon is prevalent in all Army units, influenced by the mindset of the soldiers. This study examines the relationship between job satisfaction, work performance, and work productivity, as well as the impact of job satisfaction, work performance, and both factors on work productivity. The research was conducted at Denkav-5/BLC Kodam XVI/Ptm in Ambon. This study employs quantitative methodologies. Information is derived from both primary and secondary sources. Additional sources of data were gathered through the administration of surveys and the examination of relevant literature. The Slovin formula resulted in a total of 174 replies. Data were measured using a Likert scale. Analysis of multiple linear regression was conducted. This study revealed that workplace happiness exerts both positive and negative influences on work productivity parameters, whereas work performance exerts a negligible impact. While accomplishment exerts a relatively minor influence on productivity, job satisfaction and performance exert a simultaneous effect on work productivity.
Maryoto Maryoto, Ferikawita Magdalena Sembiring ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://journal.unjani.ac.id/index.php/kmnd/article/view/464 Tue, 27 Feb 2024 00:00:00 +0800 The Role of Public Service Performance Quality in Mediating Territorial Capabilities and Binter Methods on Community Satisfaction https://journal.unjani.ac.id/index.php/kmnd/article/view/466
In accordance with the Decree of the Commander of the TNI Number Kep/1024/XII/2020 that Territorial Development (Binter) is the Main Function of the Indonesian Army in organizing the development of the potential of geography, demographics, and social conditions to become the strength of Rmoney, Alat, and Kondisi (RAK) of a formidable fight through the sterility of the TNI and the people. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of research and development on policymaking in the Pussenkav unit. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological perspective. Purposive sampling was employed by the study's resource personnel, who totaled thirteen. Data collected from interviews, documentation studies, and literature reviews were triangulated and analyzed using Miles and Huberman's theoretical literature. The findings revealed that Pussenkav's Research and Development Division was not involved in the full policy process, resulting in policies that were both irrelevant and ineffective in solving problems in the Cavalry Unit, Pussenkav's operational management was not properly carried out, and many departments still do not understand each other's processes, tasks, and obligations, and Pussenkav's R&D products or results have not attracted the attention of the leadership in policy development.
Adzan Marjohan Nasution, Rini Mulyani Sari ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://journal.unjani.ac.id/index.php/kmnd/article/view/465 Mon, 26 Feb 2024 00:00:00 +0800 Improving the Performance of Yonzipur 11/DW Soldiers in View of Leadership Style, Work Discipline and Motivation https://journal.unjani.ac.id/index.php/kmnd/article/view/458
The Yonzipur 11 Durdhaga Wighra combat assistance unit is responsible for the construction of military infrastructure on the battlefield and in peacetime. However, despite the cessation of hostilities, there is a possibility that some soldiers may still engage in misconduct and lack motivation, which could negatively impact their performance. This research aims to enhance performance by examining the influence of leadership style, work discipline, and motivation. The research method employed quantitative methods with descriptive analysis. The research sample consisted of 84 respondents, selected through random sampling. The results of the descriptive analysis of leadership style, work discipline, motivation, and performance of soldiers were categorized as sufficient. The results of data analysis indicated a significant positive effect of leadership style and work discipline on the performance of soldiers through direct and indirect motivation. However, work discipline exhibited a negative effect on the performance of soldiers. The role of motivation in positively mediating the influence of leadership style and work discipline on the performance of soldiers demonstrates the importance of motivation as an organizational priority, as it provides insight into the performance of soldiers.
Agus Iskarman, Asep Kurniawan ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://journal.unjani.ac.id/index.php/kmnd/article/view/458 Wed, 28 Feb 2024 00:00:00 +0800 Human Resource Management Development Strategy in Improving Combat Quality and Operational Preparedness of Soldiers in the 116/Gs Infantry Battalion https://journal.unjani.ac.id/index.php/kmnd/article/view/479
This research was conducted to determine the extent of the Human Resource Management Development Strategy in Improving Combat Quality and Operational Preparedness of Soldiers in the 116/GS Infantry Battalion. This research aims to (1) study and analyze in depth the Human Resource Management Development Strategies in Improving Combat Quality and Operational Preparedness of Soldiers, (2) find out the obstacles faced, and (3) identify and analyze efforts to overcome the obstacles. This research used a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach, while data collection techniques were observation and interviews, as well as studying documents related to informants from the Battalion Commander and Battalion Soldiers who were selected purposively. The results showed that the Human Resource Management Development Strategy in Improving Combat Quality and Operational Preparedness of Soldiers had not been carried out optimally due to several inhibiting factors, namely (1) a lack of competent personnel, (2) incomplete facilities and infrastructure, (3) insufficient empowerment, and (4) the lack of quotas for attending education. In these obstacles several efforts were made, namely (1) increasing the competence of soldiers, (2) increasing the number of personnel, (2) increasing the understanding of the main tasks and functions, (3) organizing coaching and coordination activities, (4) conducting training, (5) making a scale priority, (6) improving facilities and infrastructure, (7) increasing development of coaching activities that can be carried out, and (8) Mental coaching.
Tony Firmanto, Mochamad Vrans Romi ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://journal.unjani.ac.id/index.php/kmnd/article/view/479 Thu, 29 Feb 2024 00:00:00 +0800
