History

The International Conference on Sustainable Economy and Business Practice (ICSEBP) was first established in 2024 by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani (FEB UNJANI), as an international scientific forum to facilitate collaboration among academics, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and students in addressing contemporary challenges in sustainable economics and business. The inaugural conference, held on 22–23 July 2024, carried the theme "EconoBiz Summit: Building a Future Sustainable Business" and was organized in a hybrid format, combining onsite and online participation. The conference featured distinguished keynote speakers from various international universities and incorporated an international community service program as part of its commitment to sustainable development. Papers presented at the conference underwent a peer-review process and were selected for publication in the Proceedings of the International Conference on Sustainable Economy and Business Practice (ICSEBP), providing an international platform for disseminating high-quality research in economics, business, management, accounting, finance, and sustainability.

Building upon the success of its inaugural edition, ICSEBP has continued to strengthen its position as an annual international conference. In 2026, the conference entered its second edition, now known as The 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Economics, Business, and Policy (ICSEBP), reflecting an expanded academic scope that includes public policy alongside economics and business. Scheduled for 26–27 August 2026, the conference brings together keynote speakers and researchers from Malaysia, South Korea, Türkiye, and Indonesia, while broadening its thematic coverage to encompass digital economy, sustainable finance, governance, business innovation, green business, accounting, marketing, and public policy. Through its rigorous peer-review process and commitment to international publication standards, ICSEBP continues to enhance research dissemination, foster global academic collaboration, and contribute to the advancement of sustainable economic and business practices at both national and international levels
