The Effect of Workload, Competence, and Motivation on the Performance of Apkowil Kodim 0502 / North Jakarta
Abstract
The Indonesian Army (TNI AD) is the main pillar in the defense of the country in the land area, with main tasks including enforcing state sovereignty and protecting the integrity of the territory from various threats. One of the important efforts of TNI AD is Territorial Development (Binter) which aims to manage regional potential into a formidable strength. Kodim 0502/North Jakarta, as a territorial unit under Korem 052/Wijayakrama, plays a role in the development of capability, strength, and territorial development in its area. This study aims to examine the influence of workload, competence, and motivation on the performance of Apkowil in Kodim 0502/North Jakarta. Based on the results of the study, it was found that workload, competence, and motivation have a positive influence on the performance of Apkowil, both partially and simultaneously. This study provides suggestions for the leadership of Apkowil Kodim 0502/North Jakarta to improve training, monitoring, and evaluation to optimize the performance of soldiers
